The Accounts Assistant will provide overall support to the Finance team in respect of accounts payable, daily banking, month-end process and various tasks to meet its accounting and reporting obligations.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Daily Banking – Daily processing and reconciling of customer receipts, refunds, and various payments.
  • Accounts payable – Processing invoices, update and maintain vendor data base in a timely manner, and report on aged payables.
  • Month-end process – Preparation of month-end reconciliations and reporting.
  • Compliance & Audits – Contribute to internal/external audits reviews, ensuring all processes are followed and compliant.
  • Projects and Team Support – Actively participate in NobleOak projects and key finance initiative, completing analysis where required, showcasing initiative and collaboration to drive results and support our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Documentation – Maintain accurate finance documentation and records at all times.
  • High Quality and Accurate Communication – Communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing assistance when required.
  • Process Improvement – Contribute to drive process improvement and automation to “create value” in the Finance team.
  • Delivery focus – Strive to meet or exceed all metrics and KPIs.

  • Problem solving – Assist the finance team by addressing office team queries and issues.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2+ years Accounts experience.
  • Accounting / Finance Degree would be highly regarded.
