We are seeking a Senior Data Architect for a fixed 3-month contract with deep, hands-on experience designing and delivering Medallion Architecture and Customer 360 platforms. This is a technically demanding role that requires someone who has personally built unified customer data models, identity resolution layers and production-grade lakehouse solutions at enterprise scale, not simply designed them on paper. 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design the architecture and hands-on implementation of a Medallion architecture 
  • Design source-to-target mappings, data models, transformation logic and business rules for each layer of the medallion architecture. 
  • Implement identity resolution and crosswalk logic that links customer identifiers across different systems. 
  • Define semantic-layer business logic, governed metrics and KPI definitions for downstream analytics consumption. 
  • Productionize the end-to-end solution with data-quality checks, monitoring, orchestration and documentation. 
  • Partner with business stakeholders across marketing, operations, product and technology to translate requirements into technical delivery. 
  • Provide build ready requirements and artifacts to data engineers and analysts on medallion best practices, identity resolution patterns and data quality standards. 

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience:

  • Proven delivery of enterprise-scale Medallion Architecture, including Silver and Gold data models for business-ready analytics
  • Hands-on experience taking data platforms from development to production, with strong quality, monitoring and operational standards
  • Direct experience building customer identity resolution / crosswalk solutions, including deterministic and probabilistic matching
  • Track record delivering a Customer 360 / single customer view, integrating CRM, digital, contact-centre and transactional data
  • Strong capability in customer-centric data modelling, semantic layers and governed metrics as a single source of truth
  • Experience modelling digital, behavioural and contact-centre data (e.g. GA4, Adobe, Genesys or similar)
  • Advanced skills in Python, SQL and modern lakehouse platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or equivalent)
  • Experience building automated, production-grade data pipelines with orchestration, data quality and governance controls
  • Expertise in Power BI semantic models and executive reporting
  • Desirable: experience in insurance or financial services, customer analytics or NLP/text analytics use cases
