Job Description
We're seeking an experienced allied health or rehabilitation professional to join our Claims team as our Rehabilitation Practice Lead. This part-time (0.5) newly established senior specialist role will provide expert leadership across rehabilitation strategy, capability development, provider partnerships and complex case support. The part-time role is responsible for advancing rehabilitation capability across the NobleOak Claims function and serves as NobleOak's rehabilitation subject matter expert.
Working closely with our Head of Claims and Claims leadership team, you'll help embed rehabilitation excellence into everyday claims management through practical frameworks, coaching, governance, data-driven insights and specialist expertise.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
You'll bring extensive rehabilitation experience together with a passion for improving customer outcomes and building capability in others.
To be successful, you'll have:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant rehabilitation discipline. You might be an OT or Vocational Counsellor.
Current professional registration or membership
At least five years' vocational rehabilitation experience including within a life insurance framework
Strong expertise in biopsychosocial assessment, vocational rehabilitation, return-to-work planning and customer-centred rehabilitation practice across a range of professional occupations
Experience contributing to strategy, program development or capability uplift initiatives.
Strong stakeholder engagement, coaching and communication skills.
The ability to use data and insights to drive better rehabilitation outcomes.
Experience within Australian life insurance, rehabilitation leadership roles and ALUCA membership will be highly regarded.
